Cable Construction

  • Bare or tinned annealed copper conductor, Class 1 (solid), Class 2 (stranded) or Class 5 (flexible) as specified
  • PVC insulated pairs with identification to cable schedule
  • Individual pair or triple screen with drain wire where required
  • Individual pair or triple aluminium/polyester screens plus collective overall screen
  • Inner bedding below armour
  • Galvanized steel wire armour or specified mechanical protection
  • PVC outer sheath with required cable marking
