EN 50288-7 RE-2Y(St)Y SWA Multitriple Instrumentation Cable is an instrumentation cable construction for multi-circuit three-wire instrumentation routes in process plants, combining PE insulation, PVC sheath, overall aluminium/polyester tape screen with tinned copper drain wire and mechanical protection.

  • Power station monitoring and control
  • DCS, PLC, marshalling cabinet and junction box wiring

Cable Construction

  • Bare or tinned annealed copper conductor, Class 1 (solid), Class 2 (stranded) or Class 5 (flexible) as specified
  • PE insulated triples with identification to cable schedule
  • Cabled elements laid up with suitable fillers
  • Overall aluminium/polyester tape screen with tinned copper drain wire
  • Inner bedding below armour
  • Galvanized steel wire armour or specified mechanical protection
  • PVC outer sheath with required cable marking
